Winter Testimonial Drawing Contest Rules
Thank you for participating in the Palo Alto Adult School Winter Testimonial Drawing!
How to Enter:
Submit a paragraph describing your personal experience having attended a class at the Palo Alto Adult School within the last three (3) years. Identify the class name, timeframe (include year) that you attended the class along with your name, address, email and/or phone number. You could win a Free Class.* NO ADDITIONAL PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. To be eligible, your submission must be completed and received by the closing date of the contest December 12, 2008. Multiple entries, incomplete or unreadable surveys will be disqualified. Only one entry per person is allowed. Entries may be submitted online via the PAAS web site or mailed directly to Palo Alto Adult School. All readable testimonial entries will be automatically entered for a chance to win.
Eligibility:
All winners must be 18 years of age or older. Current employees of Palo Alto Adult School are not eligible to participate in this promotion.
Contest Rules—Details of Participation:
The Winter Testimonial Drawing is sponsored and administered by Palo Alto Adult School located at 50 Embarcadero Road, Palo Alto, CA. Winners will be determined by a random drawing from all entries received as of December 12, 2008. The drawing will be held December 16, 2008 at the Palo Alto Adult School office.
The odds of winning a Free Class depend upon the number of entries received. One winner will be awarded for every 100 testimonials received.
Winner Selection:
Winner(s) of the Winter Testimonial Drawing will be contacted at the email address or phone number noted on the entry. Awarded Free Class may not be exchanged for cash. Approximate value of classes varies. The winner(s) of the Palo Alto Adult School Winter Testimonial Drawing will have a choice of courses listed in the Palo Alto Adult School winter 2008 course catalog. The class fee will be waived for this selection. Any class materials fees payable directly to the instructor are not included in this promotion. Medical training classes (Pharmacy Technician; Clinical Medical Assistant; Phlebotomy Technician), Parent Education classes and Ed2Go online classes are excluded from this promotion. Claiming of the Free Class prize requires a completed class registration form within 14 days of being notified of winning. Failure to respond shall mean that the winner forfeits the Free Class. All other expenses not listed, included but not limited to, meals, transportation, etc. are the responsibility of the winner. Palo Alto Adult School reserves the right to offer a rain check or alternative class for any class not immediately available.
Privacy Protection:
All testimonial entries are considered personal and confidential. We do not sell or trade names or any information that would personally identify any individual. All of your personal information is protected by the Palo Alto Unified School District privacy policy. Acceptance of a Free Class constitutes your permission for Palo Alto Adult School’s use of your name, municipality of residence and all or part of the written testimonial for promotional purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law. The winner’s name will be posted on the Palo Alto Adult School web site no later than 30 days following the drawing. All other entrants will be contacted for written approval prior to any promotional use of their testimonial entries.
