The Palo Alto Police Department in partnership with the Palo Alto Adult School offers the Parent Project. This national program was created for parents with strong-willed or at-risk teens.

This national program was created for parents with strong-willed teens. Topics addressed include: school behavior, attendance and grades; reducing arguing and conflict; understanding why teens do what they do; identifying gang involvement; music and media influences; friendships and dating; and alcohol and drug use. Cost is $120 per person or $155 couple. Class size is limited to 20. Textbook: $35. A new 12-week series will begin in September 22, 2011.
