General Education Development
Palo Alto Adult School continues to offer the General Education Development (GED®) test as a service to our community. The State of California Department of Education issues a High School Equivalency Certificate to persons completing and passing the GED® exam. The GED® Certificate is equivalent to a national average of what a graduating high school senior has learned in Writing Skills, Mathematics, Literature and the Arts, Science and Social Studies.
