Career Training
The Career Technical Education or short-term vocational offerings include Healthcare Professional Training programs and Computer Training.
The Healthcare professional program is run in cooperation with Boston Reed College to offer vocational training for Clinical Medical Assistants, Pharmacy Technicians and Phlebotomists. In addition to classroom training, students are given real-life externship opportunities in the workforce. Upon graduation, students are prepared to apply for jobs in high demand in this area.

- PHARMACY TECHNICIAN TRAINING PROGRAM

Assist the pharmacist with mixing and packaging prescriptions, referring clients to the pharmacist for counseling, inventory control and purchasing, as well as collecting payment and coordinating billing. Pharmacy Technicians are in demand in one of the fastest growing occupations in healthcare. Classroom: 182 hours. Externship: 120 hours. Program continues from the fall quarter. - PHLEBOTOMY TECHNICIAN TRAINING PROGRAM

Start a new career as a Phlebotomy Technician. This program provides a complete learning experience. Students
will become proficient in venipunctures with syringe,
vacutainer, butterfly and finger stick methods. Upon successful
completion of training, the student will receive a
certificate of completion and will become eligible for national
